Do More
A call for men to move beyond quiet agreement — to call out disrespect when they see it and stand beside women in making equality real.
Lyrics
We were never meant to stand above Never meant to make respect conditional Different voices, equal weight Equal right to choose our fate No one smaller, no one less No one asking for respect Like it's something we can give When it's how we're meant to live
Every man knows right from wrong We know when a line is crossed So don't look down, don't turn away Don't leave it for someone else to say Stand beside her, use your voice Silence is still a choice Enough excuses, enough before Enough is enough
Do more, do more It's not stand by anymore Not just words, not just agree Not just saying how it ought to be Call it out when you see it wrong Stand beside her, stand up strong If respect is what we stand for Do more Do more
It's easy saying things must change When nothing asks us to be brave Easy saying we believe When someone else must make it real But every joke we let go by Every time we close our eyes Leaves another woman standing there Wondering if anybody cares
Every man knows right from wrong We know when a line is crossed So don't look down, don't turn away Don't leave it for someone else to say Stand beside her, use your voice Silence is still a choice Enough excuses, enough before Enough is enough
Do more, do more It's not stand by anymore Not just words, not just agree Not just saying how it ought to be Call it out when you see it wrong Stand beside her, stand up strong If respect is what we stand for Do more Do more
Not tomorrow Not somewhere else Not when somebody leads the way Not a promise Not a slogan Not another thing we say When your mate goes one step too far When the room goes quiet and still That's the moment that defines us That's the moment that we will Stand up Speak out Make it clear what we're about
Do more, do more It's not stand by anymore Not just words, not just agree Be the change you say you want to see Call it out when you see it wrong Stand beside her, stand up strong Equality is worth standing for Do more Do more Don't just tell her you support her Show her what you stand for Do more Do more Enough is enough Do more
